Welcome to Strathtay Village - A Conservation Area

Red Squirrel

Strathtay Village sits in the heart of Highland Perthshire an area of outstanding natural beauty - magnificent countryside, wooded hillside, fertile valleys and heather clad hills. The village nestles in the foothills by the River Tay below Pitcastle sporting estate and between Findynate and Pitnacree estates. The closeness to the river, woodland, open fields and the hills ensure an abundance of wildlife in and around the village including a strong red squirrel population. The residents are especially proud of their village and this website is designed to keep the residents informed about their community and to promote the village and wider area to those that wish to visit.
